Julie is a passionate and caring physiotherapist and mom of 2 young boys. Julie has clinical experience treating both orthopaedic and pelvic health conditions and has advanced training in areas such as diastasis, pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, blocked milk ducts, menopause, pelvic girdle pain, endometriosis, painful intercourse, c-section recovery, breast cancer rehab, gastrointestinal disorders and painful periods. Most recently, Julie completed my level 1 hypopressive trainer certification and pessary fitting certification.
Julie considers the latest evidence, her clinical expertise and client’s goals to achieve the best possible outcomes. She believes in a whole person model of care as pelvic health concerns are often interrelated with many aspects of life, such as stress, diet and sleep. Julie’s calm nature provides a safe space for clients to share their story and feel listened to and empowered to move forward. She believes exercise is medicine and feels great pride in helping individuals of all ages return to or remain active!
Julie is a member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as the Pelvic & Reproductive Health Division.
