Dr. Kristine Laderoute
Dr. Kristine Laderoute is a dedicated clinical psychologist and mental health advocate providing care to adults since 2008. She has diverse clinical training spanning various therapeutic approaches, and brings a wealth of experience dealing with mental health concerns. As a woman in midlife, Dr. Laderoute appreciates the psychological complexities of this stage, and the impact of both expected and unexpected life transitions. At the same time, her view is that midlife brings an opportunity for women to confidently lean into their most authentic selves and embrace what allows them to thrive. She is especially passionate about helping women feel seen, heard, and freed-up from emotional burden. She has a special interest in supporting women through life transitions (e.g., peri/menopause, separation/divorce, career) and helping them shift out of old patterns that are no longer serving them. She has participated in various women’s groups and is inspired by how empowering it is when women come together to support women.
Dr. Laderoute holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from York University and underwent her clinical training at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Toronto General Hospital, North York General Hospital, and the York University Counselling Centre, as well as various private practice settings. She also completed the Fundamental Psychoanalytic Perspectives program through the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, as well as an immersive training program in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy through the AEDP Institute.
