Pelvic Physiotherapist

Julie Bagshaw

Julie is a passionate and caring physiotherapist and mom of 2 young boys. She has clinical experience treating both orthopaedic and pelvic health conditions. She has advanced training in working with conditions such as diastasis, pelvic pain conditions (e.g endometriosis, dyspareunia), incontinence, prolapse, blocked milk ducts, menopause, labour preparation, pelvic girdle pain, painful intercourse, c-section recovery, breast cancer rehab, gastrointestinal disorders and pediatric pelvic floor disorders such as constipation and incontinence. Julie is also a certified Level 1 Hypopressives Trainer.

She believes in a whole person model of care as pelvic health concerns are often interrelated with many other aspects of life. Julie’s calm nature provides a safe space for clients to share their story and feel listened to and empowered to move forward. She believes exercise is medicine and feels great pride in helping individuals of all ages return to or remain active! Julie is a member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as the Pelvic & Reproductive Health Division. Outside of the clinic, Julie love exercise including CrossFit, weight lifting, running, yoga and skiing. She stays busy chasing around her two young boys and yellow lab!
