Registered Dietitian

Jamila Kanji

Jamila Kanji is a Registered Dietitian and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (only the 2nd dietitian in Canada to have the certification!). She is passionate about helping women in the menopause transition as she has seen firsthand the positive impact that nutrition and lifestyle changes can have at this time in a woman’s life. With over 20 years of experience as a dietitian, Jamila has worked in a variety of clinical settings including diabetes care, metabolic health, weight management, digestive health and cancer care.

Jamila’s philosophy when working with clients encompasses compassion, rekindling the joy of eating, addition over restriction and always an evidence-based approach. She supports her clients in an empathetic, authentic and holistic way, working collaboratively to help them achieve the goals they set for themselves. In her spare time Jamila loves being outside with her two kids, wandering around her neighbourhood in search of the newest food experience, or enjoying a great book.
